What is TELC?
TELC (The European Language Certificate) is a language proficiency certificate that is also valid in Germany. TELC Medicine includes not only foreign language but also medical language proficiency.
The TELC exam, which must be taken by those who want to study in Germany, proves your proficiency in Medical German and your language level is accepted by certain states in Germany as C1.

TELC Exam Dates
The next TELC exam wıll be held on 24th October.
The exam consists of two parts, written and oral. The written exam takes 80 minutes. According to the key point document of the 87th Conference of Health Ministers, the oral examination consists of three parts and lasts one hour.
In addition to a written TELC exam, the oral exam is assessed by a licensed physician specially trained and licensed by TELC. The written exam is evaluated by two independent and licensed assessors.
Written exam (80 minutes):
- Listening comprehension (30 minutes)
- Reading comprehension (40 minutes)
- Language modules (10 minutes)
Oral exam (60 minutes):
- Medical history (20 minutes)
- Short letter from the doctor (20 minutes)
- Patient Presentation (20 minutes)
